A London based freelance writer / director working in theatre, television and film.

Simon read Law at Cambridge before becoming a trainee director at the King’s Head Theatre, Islington. His credits include The Diary of Me (Trafalgar Studios), Full Frontal Diva (Finborough), The Taming of the Shrew (UK tour) Art (UK tour) and Desires of Frankenstein (Open Air Theatre, Regent’s Park). He also recently directed the Dress Circle Benefit Gala at Her Majesty’s Theatre, which was nominated for Theatrical Event of the Year by both Whatsonstage.com and Broadwayworld.com. Simon's extensive associate director credits most recently include the Olivier nominated End of the Rainbow, both in the West End and for the UK tour.

Simon has recently directed his first episode of Hollyoaks for Lime Pictures / C4 and his short film Cubicle Two made the Official Selection at the Palm Springs International ShortFest last summer.

In 2012 Simon will be directing the stage tour of the hit TV series Birds of a Feather.
