Simon read Law at Cambridge before becoming a trainee director at the King’s Head Theatre, Islington. His credits as director include: The Diary of Me (Trafalgar Studios, West End and Harlow Playhouse), The Taming of the Shrew (UK tour), Full Frontal Diva (Finborough) Desires of Frankenstein (Open Air theatre & Pleasance, Edinburgh) and Art (UK tour). As associate or resident director; The Rocky Horror Show (West End & UK tours), Rent (Duke of York’s) Simply Heavenly (Trafalgar Studios), Beautiful & Damned (Lyric), Blues Brothers (UK tour), ten productions of the smash-hit comedy Art (West End and UK tours), Credible Witness (Royal Court) as well as seasons for D’Oyly Carte Opera and the Open Air Theatre, Regent’s Park Simon is currently resident director for the 50th Anniversary production of West Side Story. He is represented by John May.
